Vector The Crocodile: Is It Right For You?

Vector the crocodile is a recurring character from the sonic the hedgehog franchise. Official profiles call vector the head honcho of and the brains behind the chaotix detective agency. He is a mobian crocodile and the leader of the chaotix, a trio of detectives.

Vector is a hip croc and second in command of the chaotix. Born in downunda, vector downplays his past often, but it is known that he was once adopted by a father and raised with a group of orphans including barby the koala and bill the platypus. Vector is one of the few crocodile characters in the sonic series and one that has gone through several changes. Vector was originally created as the keyboardist of the sonic the hedgehog band, looking closer to a real crocodile in his original design and wore sonics shoes (just as every member of the band did).

As a crocodile, vector is naturally good at swimming, using the typical movement of a crocodile in water to accelerate effortlessly. His unique swimming stroke is known as the crocodile paddle or the gator style. Vector the crocodile (, bekut za kurokodairu) is a large, strong, anthropomorphic crocodile. His name comes from a vector, this being a reference to his ability to air dash.
