This channel contains videos on your primary digital learning resource, icollege, as well as a myriad of other tools and tips designed to aid in creating assignment material, studying, skills development and more. Usg requires it to be used. It's that simple why gsu uses it. Theoretically gsu could choose to use something else, but we'd have to justify it hard to usg and most lms are very similar in function.

The icollege discussion tool is available in all icollege courses at gsu as a part of the learning management system. Discussions are located under the assessments drop down menu or via the course admininistration page. I have had so many professors do everything in their power to avoid using icollege and i don't understand it. They claim it's not user friendly or some other reasons but their solutions are arguably worse. During phase 1, beginning in june 2025, icollege banner courses created in fall 2019 or earlier will be deleted by usg, with plans to conduct subsequent course deletions periodically of any courses that are more than 5 years old.
