Randall’s Redemption? Will We Ever See It?

Randall is an expendable character, a device used to push the film along. We see a lot in him because someone at pixar did want to go that extra mile, and they gave us some clues and we, naturally curious, couldnt help but follow that path. Basically, pretty much everyone was done with randall for forcing rebecca to go to the research thing.

I think more than anything that was one of the driving factors for him being voted out before kevin in the character elimination game. While randall isn't charismatic or especially clever, he's definitely bold. I believe this character will be a major influence on the show going forward, hero to the end. I'm in the middle of episode 5 of season 2, so for all i know, he could be dead in twenty minutes.

They really made me feel bad for him when they showed julie and mariel waking surrounded loving faces, followed by him waking up completely alone. Do you think that he might turn over a new leaf in season 3? Or that hell stay the same but somehow be embraced by some of the fromites? Randall is targeted by scientists from his own world for a new experiment. Will he ever get out of it?
