The office of professional learning and leadership is organized around three core services: Retention, support and succession and five collaborative work strands: Innovation, teacher leadership development, school leadership development, mentoring, coaching & induction, and technical assistance.

The harvard graduate school of educations (hgse) 13th doctoral leadership cohort is bringing their diverse experiences teaching, innovating, and leading school systems nationwide to pgcps! The pgcps/umd improvement science collaborative will work to prepare excellent school teachers and leaders, support efforts for school improvement, advance teacher preparation programs and take a new approach to connecting research to practice.
