Is Randall A Better Villain Than You Remember?

Williams plays fred z. Randall, a techie who always dreamed of going into space and distinguished himself by creating the landing software for nasa's first mission to mars. Due to unforseen circumstances, and after a series of trials, randall is chosen to replace an astronaut on the mars mission.

From the perspective of the main protagonists and most of the viewers randall's actions are immoral. The fact that his actions can be seen as moral from different perspectives doesn't make him not a villain, it just means he's a good villain. Also, no matter your morality he is unarguably an antagonist in the story. Jamie had been tortured and disfigured by randall so one would expect a fight to the death between the two dominant males at the next opportunity.

Randall is a great villain, but dianna keeps him alive far too long for it to be believable to male readers. But theres a villain in that show, named joan ferguson, that is of the same caliber as jack randall. She has the same sort of intelligence that youre referring to. As well as the same kind of obsession, with a certain character, that randall has for jamie and claire. Everyone here knows that im hoping for randall to return, and to undergo a character arc for the better, or rather, to prove that there are indeed two sides to every coin, and that individuals are not wholly good or wholly evil.
