Jan 21, 2018 · now if you happen to plug in a second usb camera, that one becomes device /dev/video1. Some utilities are designed to work with /dev/video0 and require extra arguments. I selected v4l2:/dev/video0 and it worked. Then i tried v4l2:/dev/video1. I'm not sure what changed, but now anything trying to use the camera device seems to just hang.
